Let's Get It On...Because it's Good For You

There are so many reasons: physical fitness, intimacy with your partner, relaxing way to enter into sleep, it's free, but here are three awesome (and surprising) reasons why you should put the moves on your partner today.

Prevent cancer through sex. A number of studies show that men who ejaculate on a regular basis are more than 30% less likely to develop prostate cancer.1 Regular ejaculations help flush out the prostate, which may help curb the development of prostate cancer

Relieves your headache. Research shows that sex can alleviate an aching noggin, especially in women. The endorphins and corticosteroids released have an analgaesic effect, alleviating the pain of headaches, arthritis, cramps and body aches. "Endorphins are a natural painkiller," says Dr. Russell, president of the Australasian Chapter of Sexual Health Medicine. The production of oestrogen in women may also ward off period pain.

Men who do more housework get laid more often. ''Women's feelings about their husband were shaped by perceptions of fairness around housework,'' says Barbara Pocock, the director of the Centre for Work and Life at the University of South Australia. ''If the resentment factor was high that's when their sex life was not great. The best sex aid a man could use was a vacuum cleaner.'' Not only will you be getting more in the bedroom, but you'll have a clean house!
